Instructions for using student services web
For
assistance with your PIN, please contact University records at registrar@llu.edu
or in person.
If
you don't get the login page, refer to the
technical help page, or contact ssweb@llu.edu.
Here are some notes that will make your experience with the student services web easier:
Your PIN
In order to access the student services web, you must have a Personal
Identification Number (PIN). PINs are mailed to all registered students
in approximately the third week of the standard term of each quarter.
If the envelope is not sealed when you receive it, or you were not required
to change your PIN the first time you logged in, your PIN may have been
tampered with. If this is the case, contact the Office of University Records
immediately at registrar@llu.edu
or (909) 558-4508.
Your PIN will be used in lieu of your signature for transactions with
the student services center via the web, as well as giving you access
to your personal data. You will be responsible for any transactions that
take place via the use of your PIN, the same as if you had signed for
a transaction. For this reason it is imperative that your PIN be kept
confidential. DO NOT GIVE YOUR PIN TO ANYONE. If you tamper with
another student's enrollment or personal data, you are subject to disciplinary
action, up to and including dismissal. (LLU Administrative Handbook, Policy
J-6)
The BACK Button
In order to prevent someone else accessing your information, the use of
the BACK button will require you to re-enter your ID number and PIN. This
way, someone cannot walk up to the computer you were using, press the
BACK button, and then look up your information. To move back, press the
MENU button at the bottom of each web page.
